A SOUL star is making a difference after putting his life story into words.
Kenny Bernard, from Thetford, is donating proceeds from his new album and book, titled You Came Into My Life, to St Nicholas Hospice Care.
Kenny fronted Kenny Bernard and the Wranglers, a soul outfit which tasted success in the 60s – even playing gigs with a young David Bowie.
Kenny was moved to help the hospice after his wife, Doreen, was in its care before she died in 2009.
He said: “In a different life, with different choices, I could have achieved Fame and fortune, had a gold disc hanging on the wall or an Oscar on my mantelpiece. But I have never been one for regrets,” he said.
His book is available from Amazon.
