It’s beginning to look like Christmas everywhere as people begin to celebrate with everything from school nativities to a festive building topping out.
We have seen schools holding Christmas fair’s to raise funds, youngsters performing for their elders at a village dinner and Ipswich Town footballers taking the time to visit fans at St Nicholas Hospice Care.
At the new Davers Court care centre in Bury St Edmunds, the builders took the traditional step of putting a Christmas tree on the roof as part of the topping out ceremony. Well, you wouldn’t want Santa’s sleigh crashing into a building that wasn’t there last year, would you?
See tomorrow’s Bury Free Press for more pictures and the stories behind them.
