TWO neighbours are training to run the equivalent of four marathons in four days to raise money for charity.
Fiona Harbon and Kim Barlett-Brown have lived in Turnstone Drive, Moreton Hall, for around five years.
On May 18, they will begin their challenge to run 100 miles in 100 hours. They hope to raise a minimum of £2,000 which they will split between two charities.
Kim, 42, a mother of three, will run for Friends of St Monicahs, which helps to educate children living in Kenyan slums.
Fiona, 37, a trustee of the Bury St Edmunds Women’s Aid Centre, will run for the centre, which helps women and their children seeking refuge from domestic violence.
Fiona said: “I think we can definitely do it, it’s formidable but we’re tough enough to do it.”
