That actually involved guessing the weight of a jar of liquorice torpedo sweets, but you could have your face camouflage painted or use water pistols to shoot the staff of the Fornham St Martin home for people with learning disabilities.

The home’s service manager Elaine Townsend said they have fete to raise money for a chosen charity each year and the residents chose Help for Heroes.

During the event St Edmundsbury Mayor Robert Everitt presented the home with a certificate marking its contribution to the wellbeing and life of the borough. He went shopping on popular the cake stall.
