Fire fighters called after smoke seen coming from Bury house

Fire fighters used breathing apparatus to get into a house in Wigston Road, Bury St Edmunds, to put out a fire there this morning.

Two crews from Bury St Edmunds were sent to the house after Suffolk Fire service received a call at about 11.40am reporting smoke coming from a house.

Firefighters using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets had the fire under control just after noon the incident was under control. Crews were back on station by 12.25pm.
