The sound of Portugal is coming to Bury St Edmunds as fadista, Ana Moura, sings at the Apex on April 17.
A bright young star in a new generation of fado singers, her gorgeous voice and soulful interpretations have won her a growing fanbase.
Her stage presence makes the live experience a special one, while experimentation with a variety of styles marks her out as being very much of a modern ilk.
The Rolling Stones and Prince have both endrosed the young star, and she has performed with both in shows across Europe and America.
Ana won a Portuguese Golden Globe award in 2011, climbing to the top of the Billboard and Amazon charts.
She also picked up a nomination for Artist of the Year in Songlines magazine end of year prize list.
A recent Womad festival saw Moura entertain a huge crowd, while her new album features a collaboration with legnedary jazzman, Herbie Hancock.
The show takes place on Wednesday, April 17 from 7.30pm.
