Residents in part of Brandon have been left without water after a water main burst today.
People living in The Paddocks faced a river of water rushing down the road after a water main which supplies the area burst at around midday.
An Anglian Water network technician attended the incident at around 1.30pm to shut the water main off.
An Anglian Water spokesman said that an engineer had already isolated the leak and that a work team would attend to fix the problem this afternoon.
But the cul-de-sac in Brandon was left with several large pools of water flooding the roads, and three houses had no water supply at all.
One resident said the level of the toilet in her house was getting higher and higher. She also said that the tap water had turned brown.
