A taste of Tudor England can be experienced over the Bank Holiday weekend from today (23-26) at Kentwell Hall in Long Melford.
There will be 100 costumed Tudors going about the daily life of the rich and poor in 1559.
High summer was a time of great celebration for the Tudors and visitors can expect processions, music and dance.
There will be a chance to visit the dairy, bakehouse, stillroom, and the needleroom in the striking Moat House.
You can also see the camera obscura, the gardens, potager and herb garden.
The weekend is the second largest of the year in Kentwell Hall’s calendar and promises to be popular.
