A young Horringer schoolgirl has swept the board at this year’s Suffolk Festival of Performing Arts.
Ella-Rose O’Grady, 10, of Meadow Drive won the Junior Speech and Drama Championship after coming top of five of her classes in the section.
These were Speech repertoire, Prose Speaking, Prose Reading, Shakespeare and Duologue Acting.
The talented Cherry Trees School pupil then went on to win two trophies in the music section the following week and became Junior Vocal Champion winning two out of three classes.
Mum Sarah said: “She loves to sing and takes part in school plays. She lives for her drama and will probably want a career in it.”
