MORE than 50 parents and toddlers enjoyed a range of fun-filled activities when a nursery officially opened a new outside play area.
Hand paints as well as crown making and decorating were among the highlights of the launch at Culford School Nursery.
A new ‘music making’ session with songs and games was introduced and will run on a Friday morning for parents and toddlers and those currently attending the nursery.
Nursery manager Liz Grey said: “We were delighted to share our new play area and it was lovely to see so many happy, busy children.
“The new covered area has become a firm favourite, enabling us to do more outside as well as providing a more flexible teaching space.”
The event also marked a new time slot for Culford School Nursery’s parents and toddlers sessions, which will now be held on a Friday from 10am to noon.
They give parents and children the chance to get to know the nursery before starting at the age of three.
