West Suffolk schools take part in national project to help close gaps for vulnerable learners

The West Suffolk Teaching School Alliance, led by Barrow Primary School, is taking part in a national research project to close the gaps for vulnerable learners.

Barrow will work with other schools in the Bury Academy Trust on the Closing the Gap: Test and Learn project to identify approaches to support the most disadvantaged children.

Other local schools taking part among more than 800 across the country include Culford Pre-preparatory and St Christopher’s Primary, in Red Lodge.

It is funded by the National College for Teaching and Leadership.
