AN INTERNATIONAL education provider has been picked to run a proposed Free School.

Sabres Educational Trust has been looking for a group to take on the running of the Breckland Free School in Brandon, should its bid for Free School status be accepted.

This week it announced that Swedish firm Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES), had been selected.

Gordon Warnes, chairman of Sabres, said: “IES UK’s proposals for running Breckland Free School match our desire to provide an outstanding education for our young people.

“Breckland Free School will become part of a worldwide network of international schools providing an amazing array of opportunities for students and community.”
