More than 500 parents, teachers and pupils flocked to a ‘very important date’ with Culford School’s annual Speech Day which included a performance of Alice in Wonderland.

They listened to a speech by the Rev Dr Mark Wakelin, president of the Methodist Conference, who awarded prizes to pupils for effort and achievement over the past academic year.

Guests later watched Year 9 pupils perform Alice in Wonderland.

Pupils also show-cased their skills through events including a cricket match, flame throwing and an art exhibition.
