PUPILS mastered their pedal power during a bike training event at their school.
The children at Barningham Primary took advantage of the ‘bikeability day’, which is a Suffolk County Council scheme, to boost their confidence and learn about road safety.
The Year Three and Four pupils were taught how to fit their cycle helmets, pump tyres, test brakes and signal.
They then enjoyed games in the playground such as follow the leader.
Those in Year Four were assessed on their skills and every pupil passed.
Parent Trudy Nobbs and the school’s road safety officer Jackie Mitchell also took part.
Headteacher Frances Parr said: “The event was brilliant.”
