A new home for Risby Pre-school was opened on Friday and celebrated by children and helpers.

County councillor Rebecca Hopfensperger cut the ribbon to the new £250,000 building on the village playing field which has been funded by Suffolk County Council.

The pre-school, which now provides after school and breakfast sessions, has been running 36 years.

Children enjoyed a specially made cake to celebrate.
