Howard Primary School, Bury St Edmunds

Howard Primary School pupils sing their Song for Christmas.

Our winning choir will win 100 courtesy of Bury St Edmunds department store Palmers, to put towards books or computer equipment for their school.

Palmers, which has a newly-refurbished fashion store on the Buttermarket and a homestore in St Andrew's Street South, is one of the established names in Bury St Edmunds and we are delighted they have agreed to be our partner in this competition. You can find out more about Palmers at their website www.palmerstores.com

In the competition, readers will be asked to vote for their favourite song and the victorious performers will win the cash prize for their school along with a picture of their choir from the Bury Free Press - and they will also be featured in the Christmas edition of the newspaper.

You can vote for your favourite choir by text. Simply text BFPSONG followed by a space and the name of your favourite school to 81800. The school with the most text votes after lines close at 3pm on December 15 will be the winner. 81800 texts cost 60p plus your standard network charge. This will be charged to your mobile phone bill. By supplying your telephone number you're happy to receive SMS/MMS messages from Johnston Press (JP) and its approved partners. JP (or via its agents) and its business partners may contact you about new promotions, products & services. Messages must not exceed 160 characters per text. Please add the word EXIT at the end of your message if you do not wish to receive these. For quality and training purposes we may monitor communications.
