A GROUP of students have been learning about cultural differences as part of an exciting project.

Students from Mildenhall College of Technology (MCT) met pupils from Theodoranium school in Paderborn, Germany, on Friday, in Mildenhall.

The students have teamed up to work on a news website, reporting on issues at their schools and further afield.

Hannah Cooper, 17, said they had used video conferencing to decide what to cover.

She said: “It’s been good to work with them and see how their life differs from ours.”

Stephan Zuendorf, 18, said: “The school here is quite different – ours is 400 years old and used to be a monastery.”

Eight MCT students set off on the return trip to Germany yesterday.
