A POSTER encouraging healthy eating has won £500 for Wood Ley Primary School, in Stowmarket, which will help create a walk around the school grounds using natural materials.
Children were invited to design a healthy eating poster by the local Tesco supermarket and store manager Tim Gillam picked out the winning entry. This was by Fraser Gipson, eight.
He received a £50 gift card and £500 for the school as well as a smoothie making workshop run by Tesco for his class. The £500 will go towards the walkway project with East Feast which is developing an outdoor creative learning environment.
On Friday sculptor Andy Galsworthy visited the school to show children how to create art using natural materials.
