Parents have been invited to make Christmas decorations with their children for Rattlesden Primary for the school hall.

Parents and pupils joined forces to create Christmas decorations ahead of a school’s festive fair.

Giant baubles and stars were the products of the inventive teamwork to give Rattlesden Primary’s hall some extra yuletide sheen.

The work was in preparation for the fair, which was organised by the school’s friends group to raise money for guided reading books, atlases and art aprons. Head Bridget Burke said: “They loved it and it’s such a fun family time. There was an activity in every classroom.” She added that they are also collecting funds to purchase a class set of iPads for their new Year Five which starts in September.
