County Upper School in Bury St Edmunds takes gold in regional awards

COUNTY Upper School in Bury St Edmunds has been named BBC Look East School of the Year for Sport.

The Beetons Way School romped home the winner in this year’s awards beating off tough opposition from through the eastern region.

Headteacher Vicky Neale said this was ‘fantastic’ for the county as well as the school and praised the work of her PE department under the leadership of Richard Golding and Millie Sharp.

The school runs 43 sports clubs.
