College awards for long service

WEST Suffolk College marked the end 2011 with 46 long service awards for staff.

The longest serving were Elizabeth Bray, business development manager, and Dr Ann Williams, college principal, who had both been at the college for 30 years. Dr Williams’ award was presented by chairman of governors Richard Carter. Phil Vickers in the School of Engineering Crafts has been there 20 years and 43 members of staff had accrued 10 years’ service with the college. A raffle at the staff Christmas lunch raised £682 for The Stroke Association.
