SCHOOL site manager Keith Stringer has carried out a host of duties at Great Barton Primary School and on Friday was presented with gifts at a special lunchtime to mark his retirement.
Keith and his wife Lynn have been an integral part of school life and headteacher Sarah Rees said: “He has been a fantastic member of staff, essential to the running of the school.”
Keith has been a midday supervisor, been involved with the school PTA and helped children to make wooden toys in class. He also helped to transform parts of the school garden.
A video showing special moments in school life was played and children spoke about Keith’s contribution. He was presented with a range of gifts at a special lunch and said: “I’ve loved being with the children. It’s a lovely little school, the children are brilliant and staff are wonderful.”
