Pupils at Wickhambrook Primary School have been enjoying some spicy treats after they were visited by staff from the The Lime Indian takeaway, in Newmarket, and given a cookery demonstration.

Children from the Sjylarks class have been learning about food in their topic and the visit from the teakeaway was a surprise at the end of the project.

Some of the children had not eaten curry before and were able to sample a chicken korma and rice with the chefs answering questions about food that is eaten in India.

Pictured here are Charlie Harrington, Finnley Claydon, Sam Morgans, Leo Tyzack and Tommy Green with staff from the restaurant.
