DEALING with numbers is nothing new for accountants but even staff at Knights Lowe could not have predicted how successful its charity day would be this year.

Teams made up of Knights Lowe employees, clients and contacts competed in 18 holes of golf at De Vere Dunston Hall, near Norwich, last month.

The event, which included a three-course meal, a raffle and an auction, proved a huge success and on Thursday a cheque for the day’s total fund-raising, £3,000, was presented to Cancer Research UK.

Julie Dorling, from Knights Lowe based on Moreton Hall, said: “We are grateful for the support of our clients and professional contacts. We all had an enjoyable day and are pleased with the amount raised for Cancer Research UK.”
