A headteacher has praised her staff for a school's success in a recent Ofsted report.

Beck Row Primary School 'provides a good standard of education' and 'value for money' according to lead inspector Ann Taylor, who visited the school on November 20 and 21.

Jan Oldfield, headteacher, said: "We are very, very pleased with the report and think it reflects what's happening at the school. It says our success is down to good leadership, management and a strong team of staff, so it is a credit to them."

The report highlighted the 'exceptional progress in writing' the children have made.
