Eco boiler

A SCHOOL has installed a new biomass boiler to cut carbon emissions and energy costs.

Culford School recently installed the system, which will reduce CO2 emissions by 1,000 toness a year – the equivalent yearly production of 75 families.

It is fuelled by wood chippings sourced from Thetford Forest and was set up in conjunction with GG Eco Solutions.

The boiler was unveiled at a launch event attended by more than 30 guests.
