IT was Easter eggs galore last weekend when the New Moreton Hall Pre-School hosted a fund-raising Easter-themed day.

There was a turn out of around 120 children who went along with their parents. All ages went to the fund-raising event – from 16 months up to 12 years. Children had to search for special stampers and use them to fill in a card to receive their Easter egg reward.

There was also a tombola stall, face painting and crafts as well as other activities and the event raised around £261.

Last year, a similar event raised around £220. The money will be used for resources for the pre school.

Parent Volunteer Amanda Wigzell helped out on the tombola, while her children joined in the fun.

She said: “A fantastic day was had by all and we raised lots of money for valuable resources.”

The pre-school is offering holiday club facilities for three to 11-year-olds until Friday April 13, excluding Good Friday and Easter Monday.
