CHILDREN in Stanton teamed up with actors, the Stanton Benefice Choir and a staff from the Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds, for a drama project to celebrate the heritage of the village and the lives of members of its community.
Older residents worked with artist Ruth Philo and photographer Kate Wood to create nostalgic pieces of art, which were then displayed during the drama performance.
The event took place at the village hall last month.
Project organiser Amy Wyllie, from the theatre, said: “It was a real success with great community involvement and a fantastic turnout of all different ages. We had a lot of super feedback and as it went so well we hope to do it again in another community next year.”
