EVERY dog had its day on Sunday as an estate helped to raise more than £6,000 for charity.
A cavalcade of canines and 700 visitors made their way to Elveden Estate Dog Day.
A string of prizes were up for grabs with competitions including Best Biscuit Catcher and Golden Oldie.
The event was organised in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Society based on idea from Melanie Shuttler, PA to Lord Iveagh.
Ms Shuttler’s mother, Bridget Rickaby, suffered with Alzheimer’s and the society supported her.
She said: “I am grateful for Elveden’s continued support enabling this second Dog Day to take place.
“The money raised will help to support local people with dementia and their families.”
