Cyclist taken to hospital after serious fall in Stowmarket

A cyclist was taken to hospital last night after suffering a serious fall in Stowmarket.

Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service, Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) charity and Magpas were called to the scene following the fall at around 7.45pm.

The man, in his thirties, was assessed for head and facial injuries before being taken by land ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital for further checks.

He was reported to be in a stable condition on arrival at the Bury St Edmunds hospital.
