Village sheds and garages targeted in Rattlesden

POLICE are warning people to keep an eye out after eight sheds and outbuildings in the Rattlesden area were broken into in the last couple of days.They are linking incidents which happened between 5pm on Wednesday and 9am this morning involving properties in Brettenham Road, Stowmarket Road, Rectory Meadow, the High Street and Borley Green.

Some £600 worth of tools was taken in one incident while in some others nothing was taken although entry was forced.

Police are warning people to ensure they secure doors and use sturdy padlocks. They could also consider ffxing mesh or bars on the inside of the windows. People are advised to fit alarms and security lights and security mark their property. Police advise people to lock sheds and garages at all times and ensure keys are kept out of sight.
