THREE men have pleaded guilty to being involved in the production of cannabis.
Trevor Alan Cracknell, 59, and Roy Rampley, 49, both of Walsham Road, Finningham, and Mark Peter O’Raw, 42, of Jubilee Avenue, Stowmarket, appeared before magistartes in Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday.
The court was told the trio operated out of a portable building owned by O’Raw which was raided by police in September of last year.
Officers found 145 cannabis plants and nine seedlings in the building.
Police said the street value of the drugs was from £1,000 to £3,000 – but that ‘top level growers’ could turn the same amount into £100,000.
The case was put back three weeks for a pre sentence report to be prepared.
