AN 18-year-old has appeared in court to deny causing a public nuisance by threatening to throw herself off a bridge at Haughley.
Chloe Scott, of Horsefair Close, Mendlesham, appeared at Bury Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
She pleaded not guilty to the offence, which is alleged to have occurred on September 29 at the Haughley bridge over the A14.
The case was committed to Ipswich Crown Court for trial.
She also answered to one charge of assaulting a Pc and one charge of possession of a bladed article on August 20. She had previously pleaded guilty to both.
Magistrates adjourned the case until October 25 for sentencing and ordered for an updated pre-sentence report to be produced.
