Six former Highpoint prisoners at Ipswich Crown Court for affray

Six former Highpoint prisoners appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today, charged with affray.

This followed an incident at the Stradishall prison on January 24 last year which is said to have involved a number of prisoners who were fighting,

The men, who are now being held at other prisons in London, Kent and Rutland, appeared before Judge Rupert Overbury at a preliminary hearing.

They were Kristian Palnoni, 23, Mohamed Ahmed, 33, Levi Dawkins, 30, Samir Lammali, 36, Mohamed Tribak, 29, and Dominic Fritz-Campbell, 25.

All six were remanded in custody until a plea and case management hearing on March 11.
