POLICE have warned that heart medication, which was stolen from a West Suffolk home, could be dangerous if taken by anyone who it has not been prescribed to.

The medicine was snatched by burglars from a property in Cornfield Road, Bury St Edmunds, on Saturday July 9 between 3am to 5.30am.

They also took a blue Nissan Micra, which was later seen being driven ‘erratically’ in Dettigen Way industrial estate before being abandoned.

The burglars were then seen walking towards West Suffolk College and the town.

They are described as a group of four men with one wearing a black jumper and white t-shirt and another a red and white check shirt and jeans.

The group may also have been carrying a bottle of alcohol.

Anyone who finds the medication or has any information should contact DC Mike Blayney at Bury St Edmunds CID on 01284 774100.
