Two homes were broken into in Bury St Edmunds at the weekend.
House were broken into in Ely Close and Cowslip Close and property taken.
The burglary in Ely Close took place between 6.45pm and 8.15pm on Saturday. A secure back garden was accessed and a rear patio door was smashed TYhe thief unlocked the door and stole £50 in cash, wetsuits and jewellery.
The Cowslip Close break in occurred between 5.30pm and 9.30pm. The thieves took a ladder from an insecure garage and got into the property through an upstairs window that had been left open. They took an Apple iPad, an iPod, a Sony PSP and a Voila watch with a snap around wrist band.
Police are appealing for witnesses and asking residents to make sure their homes are secure.
