Police have issued an efit of a man involved in an aggravated robbery in Euston after the death of his accomplice who had been charged with the incident.
Zach Melheim, 47, was awaiting sentence in connection with the incident in which a couple were threatened with a knife and had items stolen from their home.
Melheim pleaded guilty to the offence at Ipswich Crown Court in August and was awaiting sentence. He was found hanging in his cell at HMP Norwich on Tuesday.
Police now hope to trace the second robber and recover valuable items which were stolen.
Ds Carl Dye of Bury St Edmunds CID said: “Two men were involved in the aggravated robbery in Euston and we would like to renew our appeal for information in relation to the second offender.
“He is described as white, aged 20-35 years old and around 5ft 10ins tall. He had a pale complexion, short dark hair and a distinctive gap between his front teeth.”
