Muggers steal man’s bicycle

ARMED muggers stole a man’s bicycle after threatening him in a night-time robbery.

The 20-year-old victim was twice approached by the robbers as he sat on a park bench in Watermeadows, Thetford, early Saturday morning.

One of the muggers first approached the man at around 2.30am, asking if he could borrow his bicycle.

When the man refused, the robber left the scene, only to return a short time later with an accomplice – and armed with what the victim believed to be a baseball bat.

The pair threatened the man before taking his red bicycle.

The first man was described as white, of slim build and aged around 30. He had tattoos on his arms and a word on his chest beginning with the letter L. He was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a white Adidas jumper.

The second man is described as being white and of stocky build, aged 25-30. He wore a dark-coloured tracksuit.

Norfolk Police say they are keen to speak to anyone who recognises the description of the men.
