Home security warning after theft

RESIDENTS are being urged to keep their properties secure after thieves stole computer games from a house in Bury St Edmunds.

The warning from Suffolk Police follows the theft of an X-Box, games and mobile phone from a home, in Ashwell Road, between 1pm and 9.20pm on Sunday.

A bedroom window had been left open at the property.

Officers are advising residents to ‘close, lock and check’ all windows and doors and to not leave spare keys in a ‘convenient hiding place’.
