Four men accused of attempting to murder a US serviceman in Bury St Edmunds have appeared in court to deny the charge.
It is alleged that Jonathan McNeely was attacked and stabbed during the early hours of New Year’s Day.
He was found with stab wounds at a flat in Gosnold Street.
Last Friday, Ryan Otto, 32, Rhys Hammond,18, Srju Roseje, 30, and Peter Raeburn, 32, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court and denied attempted murder.
Otto, of Airfield Road, Bury, Hammond, of Willow House, Rushbrooke, near Bury, Roseje, of Robinson Way, Wootton, Northampton, and Raeburn, of Macquarie Quay, Eastbourne, were remanded in custody until their next court appearance.
A trial date will be set at a further hearing on April 10.
