POLICE have charged a man with several distraction burglaries, including one in Bury St Edmunds.
Darren Gallagher, 37, formerly of Saddlebow Road, King’s Lynn, has been charged with eight distraction burglaries and one attempted distraction burglary which occurred in Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Suffolk.
The alleged offences took place in July this year and £11,000 in cash was stolen in burglaries including one in Vinery Road, Bury, on July 26.
Gallagher was arrested by detectives in Norfolk’s Operation Radar team.
He has been remanded in custody until his court appearance before Norwich magistrates on November 25.
