Burglaries in Mildenhall homes as bikes and golf clubs are stolen

Three burglaries in Mildenhall are being invbestigated by Suffolk Police.

Homes in Charles Melrose Close, Churchill Drive and Plumpton Avenue were raided at different times on Wednesday night and yesterday.

Thieves entered a home in Charles Melrose Close, sometime between 10pm Wednesday 6 and 10am yesterday. A handbag containing a purse with bank cards was stolen together with a coat and a set of car keys. The keys were then used to steal black Nissan XTerra SUV, registration AE59 LSF, from the driveway.

In Churchill Drive an insecure garage was entered sometime between 5pm Wednesday 6 and 7am yesterday when a black golf bag containing Ping clubs was stolen together with a Chris Boardman racing bicycle and a Raleigh Massif mountain bike.

In Plumpton Avenue a garden shed was broken into between 9.30am and 2.30pm yesterday. Two bicycles were stolen together with an Acer Aspire boxed computer, a Phillips laptop, a Makita drill and a number of diecast cars in boxes. The stolen bicycles were a mans black Trek road/hybrid bike, with Trek embossed in silver, with a Shimano Ultegra group set, a Sella Itallia saddle and Time Trial wheels and a boys silver Big Daddy Rooster BMX bicycle with blue mag wheels.
