‘Unusual’ theft of two high-value lorries
Two silver Scania lorries have been stolen from a compound in Chedburgh.
The theft took place at the Bury Road Business Park between 5pm last Thursday and 7.45am on Friday.
A police spokeswoman said: “This was a particularly unusual theft of two high-value lorries where the offenders have gone to great lengths to enter the highly secure compound, break into an office and locate the keys to the lorries before driving them away.
“An investigation is under way. Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area, or who knows the whereabouts of the lorries to contact them.”
The owner of the business said: “It’s terrible what they’ve done to us.”
