Two burglaries in West Row may be linked

Police suspect two burglaries in West Row may be linked.

A laptop, two ipods, an iphone and keys were stolen from a property in Jarmans Lane, between 12.30pm and 2.45pm yesterday (6). A white Ford transit van was also stolen from outside the property and later found in the village with its stereo removed.

Between 12.10pm and 1.50pm yesterday a second property, in Weston Ditch, was broken into.

Offenders forced entry through french doors and searched the property. It is not yet known if anything was taken.

On the morning of the incidents two people were seen inside a vehicle, in Hurdle Drive, West Row, one of which was wearing a red baseball cap. Police are asking these two people to come forward as they believe they may be able to aid the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detective sergeant Andrew Day on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
