Police offer reward
POLICE, with charity Crimestoppers, are offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information leading to the arrest and charge of a man.
Pytor Melaniuk is wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of 66-year-old Peter Avis in Bury St Edmunds on January 13.
He has numerous tattoos, including ones on his hands and a spider tattoo on his right arm, and is missing a thumb, as well as two middle fingers on his right hand above the knuckles.
He is Polish and may be using the names Irek Marciewicz, Irek Pomielony, Pyotr Kelaniuil, Kamil Wislak and Ireneusz Melaniuk.
Anyone who sees him should call police on 999 and anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
