Police appeal for witnesses after Reliant three-wheeler overturned
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two men ran off after turning over a Reliant three-wheeler on a roundabout yesterday.
Officers were called at about 2pm to a roundabout on the A1101 near Raf Mildenhall, where a Reliant was on its side and two men from it were seen to run towards nearby woods.
A 24 year old man was arrested the same evening and has been bailed to return to Bury PIC on Friday 2 March but police are still looking to trace the other man. He is described as tall, skinny and in his late teens or early twenties.
PC Thomas Kent said: “We’ve had a number of reports over the past two days from people who have seen a vehicle matching this description driven badly in the area. We are concerned about public safety and would be very keen to hear from anyone who has seen the vehicle, or may have any information on the driver.”
Calls should be made to PC Robert Bryan at Bury police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
