Fire at stable

POLICE are investigating a fire which caused £5,100 of damage to a stable block in Stanton this week.

The fire happened in a field off Glassfield Road between 12pm on Monday and 11.20am on Tuesday.

The block had recently been laid with new hay and was burned to the ground but no animals were injured.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have information or who saw anything suspicious.
