A woman from Rougham has denied seven offences of fraud by abuse of position in connection with the theft of more than £12,000 from Suffolk County Council.

Caroline Green, 43, of Smithy Close, is alleged to have stolen £12,012 while working as a business support manager for the council.

The allegations relate to the period between November 1, 2012 and July 31, 2012.

Green appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today to enter her not guilty pleas and was told by Judge Rupert Overbury that her trial would take place in February next year.

Judge Overbury told Green that she would continue to be granted bail until her next court appearance.
