Children at Hopton Primary School had plenty to smile about after Tesco in Thetford donated 160 Easter Eggs to the village school.
Each year the school organises an East egg hunt and invite parents to send in eggs for their children to find.
This year they decided to write to local supermarkets asking if they could donate some eggs and the Thetford store stepped up to the mark.
Tabitha Creasy, a member of the school’s PTA, said: “We’re just over the moon. We have 72 children in the school so they can all search for their egg and the remainder we’ll use to raise funds for school projects with a tombola and a raffle.
“We’re a small school but everybody is very willing to lend a hand and be involved. There is a nice community feel here and we are very grateful to Tesco.”
