Ipswich Town players brought generous festive cheer and a chat for people at St Nicholas Hospice Care this week.

Cole Skuse, Dean Gerken and Alan Lee spent time chatting to patients at the Orchard Day Therapy unit and visited patients on Sylvan Ward. Here Dean Gerken and patient Sue Stanford enjoy a hug during the visit.

The players brought gifts for patients and donated items to brighten up the Florence Cohen Room which offers overnight accommodation for visiting families. A television was also presented by the East of England Co-operative Society.

Laura Beardsell-Moore from the hospice said: “Christmas can be tough if you are not feeling well, but this visit lifted everybody’s spirits.”
